I’ve read many writers describe “thirst for a water that will quench them.” Sometimes it is found in the lustful throes of entangled lovers. Other moments find it in the realm of prayer and meditation.
In recent weeks, I have also found myself searching for this concept. I’ve found a lot of interesting philosophy pointing towards the elusive answer.
Knowledge is power applied when you practice the disciplines required to obtain it.
Call it age or maturity. I’m enjoying the point in my life where I’m conscious about the ownership of my life and mind. There’s a true sense of freedom in being able to look at a faithful career as an entrepreneur.
This has given me perspectives in life that are beginning to group together as patterns I learn from.

Going back to the unquenchable thirst. It stems from our ability to love. You have unlimited ways to show love to others. When you show love, you replenish your thirst for it.
Somewhere along in life – you discover the person your heart has been breaking for. You.
I don’t know why it can be so hard to accept ourselves. Sometimes it is easier than others. What I do know is that the love we put out into the world comes back in wonderful ways.
