Well, as I prepare to embark on a weeklong expedition to the International House of Prayer, I have been doing a significant amount of thinking and questioning about the next stages in life. I originally wrote “my life” but it really isn’t my life. It’s His.
What to expect? Well, I am not sure. I think that’s best, too. The next steps in life are looking relatively uncertain as I am not sure what will happen. I do have a sense of peace, however, that has not left me for several months.
While doing dishes this evening, I was thinking of the song “The Butcher” by Project 86. “There is no weapon – there is no blade” referring to the verse in the Word –
Isaiah 54
No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.
What would you do if you could fully grasp this assurance from the LORD?
