The amount of actual thought and decision making that goes on during our daytime hours is shockingly low. Even after careful hours of poring through the news, we are still receiving only the watered-down facts presented and stretched by the ownership of the media. With the amount of research and study required to formulate just one article in a major newspaper, it’s really impressive how they are able to summarize these countless hours of fact-finding and verification.
I don’t like to live in a world of sacred cows. For the glorification of objectivity, I like to think that any opinion or perspective can ultimately be broken down into a defined set of motivators, fears, incentives, pros and cons for the individual taking ownership of said thought.
The sacred cows in our lives are often the things we’re most scared to tempt with fate or question.
No, every pastor/priest isn’t a pedophile. Not even by a long shot. Yet…how many of these child-abusers got away with their crime because somebody believed they couldn’t be capable of such a heinous act?

Perhaps somewhere out there, there’s a mother who wants to be told she’s done something right.
Perhaps there’s a young girl who needs to be told she’s beautiful and kind-hearted.
Perhaps there’s a young man who needs to have somebody take a genuine interest in his life.
Perhaps, we fight and argue because it makes us feel more comfortable than letting our guard down and loving each other.
